Speer Gold Dot 9mm hollow point ammunition is designed in two stages to control how far the bullet expands, as well as the rate of expansion. Each bullet is crafted to deliver the optimum expansion and penetration possible from its caliber. The two-stage Gold Dot Uni-Cor process creates true bonded-core ammunition, which virtually eliminates core-jacket separation, the leading cause of handgun bullet failures.

This Gold Dot 9mm cartridge uses CCI primers and low-flash propellants, producing sure-fire ignition, while allowing the shooter to stay on target for follow-up shots. This 9mm bullet is assembled in nickel-plated brass cases for corrosion protection and smooth, reliable feeding in semi-automatic handguns.
